The assignment will help the participant develop a wide range of Eaton leadership competencies such as business strategy, business acumen and leveraging resources. The scope of the assignment allows interns the opportunity to provide value to the organization by achieving a well-defined, important strategic objective. 

Structure

Participants will be assigned to either a functional or operational area, including operations, supply chain, marketing or business development. Past assignments include strategic market analysis, pricing analysis and financial modeling, and supply chain efficiency improvements. To facilitate and accelerate the on-boarding process, students are provided a competitive housing allowance and relocation reimbursement to and from school and their assigned Eaton location. The summer internship culminates with a formal presentation where students showcase their success stories to senior leaders of the organization and receive feedback on their performance.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing an MBA; an undergraduate degree in engineering is preferred
  • A minimum of five years of work experience between undergraduate and graduate degrees
  • Geographically flexible
  • Authorization to work on an ongoing basis in the country where you are hired, without visa sponsorship
